  • Vass studded thermal wellingtons

Well lads after visiting Norway now on three occasions and sliding all over on wet rocks or ice and snow (but mainly rocks) I have bought a pair of the thermal studded wellies for my fourth visit at the end of this month.
Feel a bit unsure as I has the winter Muck boots which are fantastic but you still slip on rocks. Tried putting studs in but rubber in front sole really to soft so lost most when out fishing.
Suppose the proof will be in the pudding when I get them-got size 11 as I am a ten so if I need to I can put thermal socks on - which are not required for muck boots.
Thought about crampons for muck boots but don't seem right for all the slippery rocks we spend a lot of time on.
After last visit when I slipped and fell twice on my left elbow god knows how it was not broken my full joint was very very swollen.
    Cost of wellies £45.
    Mick.

I remember seeing in "Go out-doors" some coil wire type things that fit on ya boots, don't know if they'll be any good for you?
