allright mate,not worth a shot on a smallish tide with small sea,you will be better trying the pier on the neck end or the roundhead.The ramp will fish on a very big sea on the flood.

Never got down the other day. Went this morning after work. Sea was flat, but could not be bothered to walk along pier. Fished the ratty, once the tide started to flood started getting bites as soon as bait was touching bottom. Bait used was mussel. Only fish I ended up hooking into was a small whitey about 6 inch long. Lip hooked and returned ok. All tho not many fish a nice few hours before going to bed.
