    Greys syntra

    Has anyone got or used one of these rods

    Can i have as much info as possible on them please as i'm thinking of getting one. I'll mostly be using it on beaches over mixed ground but might want to fish off the rocks while i'm out. Will this rod handle it?
    Best shore caught fish:- Pollock 6lb+ Beadnell, 9lb 8oz Cod Blyth Beach

      Whats the score with the 2nds at hardys anyone? Are they ok to buy??

        If you're looking for a mixed ground rod, Greys still have a couple of Orions in the showroom for £80.

        Cracking rod for the money, and will cope ok with rough ground. (I use mine rather a lot !)

          I have one of these rods, find it excellent for clean/mixed ground beaches of the Holderness coast, sits well in heavy tides have also used it on Filey Brig in the heavy ground coped very well, can use it with reel in the high position but is designed for reel down.
