Leave coasters for field casting or using 6500 size reels. They are troublesome for fishing and your reel can come loose usually when winding in a fish! Fuji's are good as are Abu griplocks. You can fix them by jamming tape underneath and taping each end. That way you can remove them later. If they get stuck just loosen them with some boiling water.

Removing shrinktube is a piece of cake just score it with a sharp blade and peel it off like a banana skin. Just be careful not to cut the blank.

Putting tube on again is easy too. Usually boiling water will do the job but for a tight finish you will need a heat gun. A hairdryer is a waste of time. Don't forget to leave about an inch spare either end, you can always trim this later or leave it to keep water/sand from getting into the butt end.

Not too keen on the new x wrap as its a bit thicker and on some rods you can't put the original sliding reel seat back over. You may need a bigger reelseat.
