Well after years of excellent service my old pal Alan has decided to retire. Nearest angling shop after February is now going to be miles from Consett.
Wishing Alan all the best in any future ventures which are easier on his health.

alan has provided a good service with tackle to match over the years for both fresh water and sea anglers alike, good crack in his shop.
I wish him all the best on his retirement
a lot of course fishermen use the shop as alan provides lots of live and frozen baits both for sea , trout, and course fishing with tackle to match .

mick just stick with the fishing rods m8 less trouble and you can go any ware for a day out, sold all of my guns 14 years ago saves all the hassle.
the new owner must be a local lad ? , hope he retains the sunday morning opening hours AMH used to be open 7days a week
