nothing nice about easterlies on this coast fishfinder, worst direction sea you can have, lol makes most of the shore unfishable if they are big. i think the saying is when the sea is in the east the fish bite the least, lol ask some of the old timers

all i am saying is that big east sea are usually not that good for fishing as you are limited to the shots you can fish. this coast line fishes better with north or north easterly sea and south to south easterly seas. thats just my view and i will stick to it

A big northerly is exactly the same as a big easterly if not even bigger swells and there are no end of places to fish in such seas, even better when they are dropping off,not quite sure what your point is red rock as fishfinders post is predicting a nice easterly roll not the perfect storm.

9 pounder of the gut at cresswell last year and the sea was flat as flat can be,had them of north crab hill ,whitley pipe, crawleys, the beacons, rockie island craster, seahouses, marden rocks, bog hall, snab point, castle rocks the middens rocks. longhougton steel etc when the sea has been flat, granted its always better when there is a sea going and you get more if you are lucky but its not always running and you have to make the best of it
