    Fished Blyth last night and test drove some new kit

    Greys Chest Waders - kept me dry and warm, in fact I was sweating my t*ts off after various amounts of wading and hiking....can't fault them (yet LOL)

    Shakespeare Salt Rucksack - a bargain at £16...excellent bag, huge capacity and feels very tough...will def be one of my fave bits of kit

    Just need a new rod now coz my piece of licorice is starting to look and feel woefully inadequate

    Yes it was a good night and you looked great in your shiny new gear. That carpark at the middle bogs seemed to get very busy in the small hours wonder what all them couples were gettin up 2 think i'll give the fishin a miss next time and just stop in the carpark

          Nice one Tony, having decent gear doesn't make you catch more fish, but at least it makes blanking a bit more comfortable!

            Blanking would be right LOL

            Next trip out is Lynemouth in a couple of weeks...hopefully have a new rod and reel by then...how could i fail then
