        £18 for the crabs. Seems a lot of money. Still if its the only method you have of getting any it may be worth the expense.

          I was out fishing with 20 lads last night and all the cod were taking was worms. Not even touching fresh crab!
          Best shore caught fish:- Pollock 6lb+ Beadnell, 9lb 8oz Cod Blyth Beach

            They are not peeler crabs, there a type of japanese soft shell crab that is usually just for eating. They sell them on the baits direct site too but in packs of 4/5 and a lot cheaper!

            I bougth a pack once, and they were useless

              I bought some a while back also to try them. Not a touch - even the whities wouldn't bite and they were on!

                Hi ALL
                them soft back crabs are not worth buying i bought £50 worth a few years back at Scarborough when i fished the festival for the week never had a bite on them ended up giving what was left away ( Rubbish ).
