Top dollar catch. I remember fishing with Steve Walker (the lad who writes for sea angler) hooked into a cod of about 8lb on a two hook flapper. I was next to him on the Heugh. He was cool as a cucumber he got the fish to the surface and slowly walked it along to the steps. You could see it was just lipped with a 2-0 hook on a two hook flapper rig. He got the fish into the corner at the steps and I went down a got it by the gills. Always try to think of that if I am ever in the same position.
Personal best, 12.5lb Tope Scotland. 22/05/2012.
