Henry Gilbey has a right old rant in this months Sea Angler about shore anglers trying to emulate tournament casting techniques on the beach...
He basically says that most anglers try too hard to copy these casting styles and invariably put themselves and those around them at risk.
To that end, do these casting styles have their place on the beach?
We all know that it isn't always necessary to blast the lead beyond the horizon...but in which circumstances would it be applicable?
