Hi Folks . Just joined and thought i'd introduce myself. I'v been shore fishing (badly) now for just over a year and get out as often as i can and just love it . Been fishing rough ground marks from Newbiggin up to Boulmer trying to catch my first cod , but no luck yet ! So i'm hoping to learn more by reading the shore catch reports etc . Like the pics too as i now know what a cod looks like . Tight lines guys.

Welcome aboard Iva. I'm pretty new to this too. Keep getting out, do a bit of searching on here, YouTube and tinternet and there's tons of tips on catching cod.
I did that, kept going out and blanking until 2 weeks ago caught my 1st coddling nr longhoughton. A healthy 5lb 3oz. Great buzz and makes all the other outing worth while. Now I spend all week checking tides, wind directions and itching to get out again."If you can read this, you're too close"
