Just a quick thank you to the person who gutted their fish and left the mess outside the brigade hut gates, we received an emergency call last night and before we could get the vehicle out we had to clear up that mess, wasting valuable time.

these mindless so called fishermen are just a total waist of space. leaving a mess it only takes a few minutes to clean a fish and put the guts into the water for the crabs. why should other people have to clean there mess away just not on.
this is the sort of problem that's gets fishing a bad name even the problem of litter left on the piers why cant they clean there mess away.consett warlord retired

Youngun or older experienced angler it makes no odds, whoever did this is a lazy moron. But singling out youger anglers with no evidence whatsoever is bang out of order and an insult to any of the young anglers who use this site, some of whom I've had the pleasure of meeting and who have been without fail polite, helpful and conscientious anglersCLIP IT AND WHACK IT

Really?? so there's no way it could have been an older, experienced angler??
At what age, and at what level of experience does someone become incapable of being a cu next tuesday?Ron Thompson Axellerator 13’ - Penn Spinfisher 7500

agree with stewart there are some good young people in the sport its not fair to blame them or point the finger unless you have proof.
I have seen older fishermen leaving there litter / beer cans ect on shields pier and roker pier, when you say any thing too them you are told f... off old man.
yes I am a old man but I don't leave rubbish around for some one else to remove.
I have respect for the venue I fish like most other people I know and go fishing withLast edited by dale19; 16-01-2014, 05:10 PM.consett warlord retired

What I'm saying is the oldest most experienced angler in the world could still be a lazy arrogant 'person'. (I don't imagine many younguns use fresh mussel, crab, or razorfish as bait, but there's nearly always piles of shells and crab legs on floor at the 44 mark, so who left them?)
You shouldnt say ''it has to be younguns'' just because youve seen young people drop rubbish before.
I once saw a red haired person with a sunderland top on, drop litter on the beach, so I suppose i could say 'it must have been a ginger makem'!
My bin don't smell too good either.Last edited by andyco; 16-01-2014, 05:58 PM.Ron Thompson Axellerator 13’ - Penn Spinfisher 7500
