    what do you all use as a nite light , head lamps, rod tip lights ,petrol lamps, parafin lamps,battery lamps.i use a head lamp n used a tilly lamp as well but its a mess a bout heating it up n the seals dont last

    sometimes i use a streetlamp ,if the venue is close to the waters edge

      i use a head lamp for baiting up reeling in ect a rod tip light and sometimes on long trips a coleman duel fuel tilly

        Just a head lamp,i carry enough rubbish without adding something like a Tilly to the list.

          head lamp for me, and rod tip light. i bought a big halogen tourch but the battery dont last 2 mins when its on all the time. have spotted a stanely led tourch on a mini tripod that i'm going to get for a 'base light'.

            Headlamp and rod-tip lights for me. TackleBargains do 50 for £9.95 if you click here. The ones I got from them were light blue, rather than the dark green shown, which actually works better for me. I just tape them on, but I'm sure there are better ways.

              I Use A Headlamp And Thats That Me Rod Tips Now Painted With Luminous Paint And Glow Like Mad Do Have A Tip Light As A Back Up Not To Keen To Use Em Though Snapped Me Rod Tip Last Winter Line Got Wrapped Around Me Tip Light

                tiga headlamp expensive, but well worth it in my opinion and snap lights just use bait elastic to tie on no chunky tip light to get ya line wrapped round cheap as chips too

                  I prefer the chemical snap lights.
                  I did buy one of the eletric type but it was to bright for my eyes.
                  Prefer the gentle tone of the sticks.

                    looks like the parrafin/petrol lights are a thing of the past.(john w) i use a tip light as well as a head lamp but the tilly was there for the warth n a base lamp.

                      headlamp and snap lights, used to use tilley`s but the weight carrying aint worth the effort unless your fishing an easy to reach mark, though i do miss being able to warm up food on the lamps
