Aright lads,

long time since i've been on here.....anyway can someone tell me when the next open is and which one it is.Also i'm looking for a new club to join anyone got any ideas on decent clubs to join?

Im a member of Seaham Sea Angling Club,loads of competitions through out the year for both seniors and juniors.Also you get access to the North pier at Seaham.

Hiya lads thinking of coming up to fish this open ...but ive never fished any further up the coast than hartlepool , can anyone give me any more details about this open , ie start times ,boundaries etc .cheers

horden open

the horden open has been advertised wrongly in this months sea angler.
this match is a 5 man sea league team event and part of a 6 match league all matches are fished on horden beach and are zoned and pegged.however as this is part of the penne sea league all matches are open to anyeone who wishes to fish either in a 5 man team or as an individual.
anglers must pre book prior to the the match date to allow the organisers to have the correct number of pegs out.

OPEN COMPETITION RULES AND ENTRY DETAILS

Would all competitors please note that whilst the rules set out out below are accurate as far as I am aware, it is their responsibility to make sure that there have been no changes by reading and following the rules within the pamphlet that will be provided with their entry tickets.
Would everyone please note that the boundaries for the 2007 competition have been changed are are now from Seahouses to Tynemouth. Details of the 2007 competition are as follows:

Over £2000 of purchased prizes plus donated prizes and trophies

First Prize £1000

Heaviest Flatfish £100 cash

Ladies and Junior £50 voucher

Registration at Bank House Club from 8:30 - 10:30

Fishing 10:30 - 2:30pm

Weigh in until 3:45pm

FEES: Seniors £10 (including heaviest fish) : Juniors £3

Optional Superpool £2 - (100%payout - 50%, 30%, 20%)

Optional teams of two £2 - (100% payout 60%, 40%)
