Fishing the point at Beadnell today and thought i was goin to be in for good fish when i saw loads of bubbles on the surface........well i cast out in the direction of the bubbles and suddenly something broke the surface.........it was three divers!!!! Fishing spoilt for the day as there were loads more behind them.

Same happened to me at St Marys the other week - it wasn't so bad as the seal had scared the fish off anyway, but the divers were steadily creeping round to where i was and while i was packing up they were swimming where I'd been fishing - I reckon they'd have just swanned in even if I'd been there...

There's been consternation about divers "booking" wrecks on here before...do they have more of a right than anglers? I personally think they don't care...with a bit of a mightier than thou attitude

Can anyone give a divers perspective?
    Ooh a new vid!

I ended up talking to a couple of them that came out onto rocks where i was and they were collecting lead....amongst other things!
They were helpful tho as they told me the area were i was loosing loads of leadheads was directly where the wreck is. They also said there was loads of big wrasse and pollock near the wreck and the reefs.

They might be there but it's not easy to get to them through all the kelp and that dam wreck. One of the divers was also a fisherman and he said i should cast a float out a bit instead of just over the edge. He also said with a good cast you can get into some good cod over the back near the pipe.
