thats what i thought , ide had several pairs of ron thompson etc ,and just over a year ago i invested in a pair of greys , lovely , i thought ,nice n warm n the flexible softish boots were great ,until a few weeks ago when a little stones embedded it self into the side of the right foot ,resulting in a wet foot when i go in water , gutted, no reciept and over a year old , for me the wellie part of the boot is to soft, bloody hell there waders and should be able to take abit of stick..., i know of another lad who got a pair and holed the foot also only three days old he returned his though due to only having them 3 days, and heard of other occasions ,,,, i now have to fork out myself for a pair ,,,,,,

Had a pair of Diawa chesties last year and used them 3 times a week plus digging every week for 8month and they were spot on until i overstretched when digging and they split at the groin, and never got them sealed properly again, i thought this was good and wanted some more but was advised that the new type of Diawa ones were splitting on the foot. Im after a pair myself, might plump for the Fladen ones, cheap but they reckon thyre good value.

It worked a treat but they still seeped in after a while, got some hammer last season and hopefully this season aswell. I wasnt digging at the groyne, i was looking for crabs around the groin!!!

Bought a set of Greys for last winter because of the studs. Within three months the studs were worn away. Tried to find out if you could buy new studs and was informed NO. Luckily for me there developed a very small leak in one of the feet, so took them back to Frazers who sent them back to Greys for check up. Within two weeks the waders were replaced with a brand new set. That's good service but the only concern I have is the studs wearing away so quickly. I was jokingly told not to use them on the rocks, just for sand!!!!
                              Cheers
