              No mate, only used these cos I had no fresh bait and these were in the freezer. Have caught with rag using this method though. Have caught a fair few fish on sandeels, either whole or halved tipping, when fishing with the more traditional beachcaster methods of fishing on the bottom. The only thing is you cant add much extra weight to the rigs as the floats are weighted so just the tip sticks out and any greater weight would sink the tip, av found a couple of the larger split shot used by coarse anglers placed just above the hook work ok though.
