I fished there a few times but only in the summer for reddies I should imagine it'll be a good winter shot aswell in the right conditions mate.

I have fished it summer and winter. Had dab, flounder, bass and codling off it. Had a session there 3 weeks or so ago 6pm - 9.30ish, caught 2 codling on lug and squid. Fished North of Cheswick where the rocks are.

Depending where you are staying I would say in my opinion there are better places to fish North (Eyemouth, St Abbs) or South (Bamburgh, Beadnell). But as Topbanana says if the conditions are right. It is worth a shot, let us know how you get on

We fished it last summer and used the light rods so we could use the spinners and lures but the sea was a blowing a little too much when we got there and it was a south easterly which brought a lot of weed so it didnt produce for us that day but that was our fault .
