Thinking of investing in one of those flotation suits as I hear they are very warm, and of course good news if the worst happens and you end up in the water.
You won't go far wrong with a Sundridge. Main advice is to get a two piece, they are very warm and if you have a bit of a yomp to your mark or if it is not as cold as you thought it is handy to be able to take the jacket on and off.

The missus got me an Imax two piece suit a few years back and its spot on. Its a bit heavy but it keeps the cold out and I can take the jacket off if needs be, wouldnt be without it especially during this weather.
I used to have a fladen and in my opinion it was one of the best things I purchased nice and warm plenty of pockets felt very safe with it on.
I now have a sundrige but on the look out for a used fladen
I have had different Sundridge suits over the years. My most recent is the Crossflow type. Bit dear now, but you can get the mk 7 cheaper.
Best thing I find is the hand warming pockets on the sides of your chest-keep my hands warm as toast even in Norway.
Mick.
