    It's me and thee so far then we may as well kick it off...

    Aye - Wrasse, Pollock and Bass (fooking hell never caught one but hey isn't that the point? )

    has to be photo'd with location and tactics used...

    First week in September we see how we've fared....unless we've caught them before then

      Game on.. have read reports or wrasse and pollock being caught locally and i'd say dunstinbrough or st abbs is the best bet, the bass is another matter but have got a few plugs so might through them in off the rocks at the weekend. good luck mate!

        mebbes we should have started with mackerel, coalies and the humble rock blennie...i coulld have scored all of those on friday night...........

          Count me in aswell. I'm going to be up at Seahouses a lot over the next few week's so i'll take the camera along.
          Should manage the wrasse and pollock with a bit of luck but haven't got a clue where i will catch bass..
          Best shore caught fish:- Pollock 6lb+ Beadnell, 9lb 8oz Cod Blyth Beach

            Just realised if we should catch Bass we'll have to keep it quiet (at least as far as exact location)

              Deffo. Any advice on bass marks would be great so could someone pls pm me.
              I'm goin up to Seahouses tonight so will get started then. Never caught a wrasse but seen loads caught at Beadnell.

                  I am going up to Dunstanbourgh castle on Sunday so what's the best tactics for wrasse and is peeler the only bait or does rag fish well?

                                nice one gloves. dont think i'm going to be out till sunday am at a wedding tommorrow. am going to the bait shop at lunch time though going to get as many different baits as possible, drop our lass off at work on sunday morning 9:00 then point the car towards craster.... then fish the tide out and back in again
