I have a Shakespeare mg1000 beach rod here that I'd like to give away.

Its a cheap and cheerful rod but is complete with no damage, would be ideal as starter rod to use in river or pier.

I don't want anything for it, just that it goes to someone deserving.

    All the best.

very nice gesture gary mate, one good turn deserves another, so ill match it mate, ive got a "nearly" brand new multiplier free to good home, so whoever takes the rod wants a reel... its a greys G-MAG SEVEN still in the box, been used about 3 times, cost 70 quid from id fishing so its there if anyone wants it.

              Wow, very nice mate.

John was first to contact me about it, so I'd say it was his.

However how about putting the rod and reel together and whoever wants the two can make a donation to RNLI ?

              Does that sound OK?

OK, slight change of plan, but we have the Rod and Reel together.

                        Shaky MG1000 4-6 and the Greys Gmag7

Not going to win any awards, but the kit will get someone started

A donation to RNLI will get you them

                        onefortheroad has said £40

so will give it til dinner time Christmas eve to see if theres any other interest.
