fished the shelf for a few hours tonight arrived top water,set up 2 rods using crab ,one short chuck other bit further,when tide began to ebb ,small bite here and there,pulled in a rockling about 9 inches lol ,just as i was chucking rockling back other rod went like the clappers ,picked rod up slack liner ,took the slack up thump ,started to reel in felt canny weight ,yes it happened fish had snagged me up,waited 5 -10mins see if it wud free its self ,then ping lost the lot,couldnt tell ya what it was but it seemed decent ,nothing else after that ,left at 9.45pm head for home .
