I have a Cree and came with 2x 3000mh 3.7v batteries. I have 6 x 4000mh Panasonic batteries. Am I fine using these in my Cree?

as long as they're 18650 li-ons they'll be fine mate the mah stands for how long they hold a charge for.

The batteries are usually fine, it is the charging circuit in the headlamp that either fails to charge the batteries or burns out altogether. A separate battery charger will charge and condition the batteries properly. I have been charging mine like this for over two years after the internal charger packed up and burned out the psu (plug in power supply unit) and the batteries and headlamp have been fine.

I bought them a while ago mate but they were from a uk seller I'll search the link out for you tomorrow. Yes they're fine mate. They very good battery's the protected ultra fire ones. At the minute they are flat and I don't have a charger but my lamp has a DC connector and I've been charging them on my landline power supply and they've charged well.

It usually only takes one faulty cell for the battery pack to fail so you will probably have five good ones.
