    Hi Davey,
Where exactly is the pier in Cambois? Is it the pier leading upto the wind turbines nearer Blyth?
If so, how far along can you get to fish from here ? If you've read my other post regarding fishing at Blyth it sounds like the pier south of the river isn't too clever to fish from !!

The pier south of the river is the 'west pier', where most people fish from. The northern most pier has the wind turbines on 'called east pier', but as far as i was aware though you weren't allowed to fish from this one!!!

Your not officially allowed to fish Cambois pier.
Quite a few anglers take their chances and fish from the end, it can get dodgey if the sea turns.

The East pier is out of bounds for fishing and very dangerous to fish from,NESA does'nt encourage people to fish from such marks, the west pier on the Blyth side is much safer and has easy access to it and you'll catch the same amount of fish
          Cheers Alan...

As Alan said Cambois pier is out of bounds and also speaking to someone who's been there recently a canny dangerous place to get onto ,it's not worth it lads.
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

I would agree, the decking is dangerous with many areas missing.
Not worth the risk in my opinion, let alone the probs you can face if the sea gets up.

It also looks as if there is a couple of large metal gates to climb over. Definitely not worth the risk.
