    ok so maybe this may tempt a few of you to come try up here.
    these photos are withing 10 minutes walking distance from our house.

    and how about this


    how do these grab you norman?
    or you TC? fancy a bash?
    maybe this one would be easier for you, we regularly go down to this one.....

            I used to fish Newbiggin/Sandybay cliff regularly back in the mid 80s alot of good fish when a sea is running,but the obvious problem of landing them.Seen a lot of good fish snap the line on the haul up,but the guys would hang around for low water to collect them all be it bruised after the fall.

                :P any of the Newbiggen rocks or cliffs does it for me, love it, you canna wack it a few fast holds loose your geer GREAT there\'s nowt as a daft as a fisherman or woman lol lol
                May the holes in your net be no larger than the fish in it.

                  the height of the cliffs in these pics are 20m up to 90m according to the ordnance survey map we have. the very bottom pic you can get to waters edge for defo, we go there when we want some nice pollack spinning on light tackle............ great fun

                      hi sless,
                      it is about 5 hours drive from edinburgh if that helps.
                      i think it used to take us about 2 hours to edinburgh from gateshead when we visited afriend there.
                      it is really easy sless, and it would be great to see you
