Was out last night on shields pier but couldn't get to the end as it was too rough. Mind I could see across to tynmouth pier and saw some brave (foolish) wave dodgers attempting to get to the end to which they did but nearly got washed in several times

Walking onto the south scar at cullercoats at half 9 was too early to cast. Waited 20 mins before I cast a line. And that's one of the most sheltered places. Never mind on tynemouth pier! Mental!!!!Comment
