    hi lads most off my rods are 14footers and fancy something a bit shorter for the pier such as a greys shadow ,any1 know anything about them such as whats it like to use, and does any1 know any1 with 1 for sale in decent nick

    they are a cracking summer rod lightweight slim blank they cast nice i know people who have caught big fish and brought them in no probs only ever had small ones on mine story of my life hahahaha

        hi , i had a one of these rods when they came out they were ok bit give in the butt for feel nice powerband in middle of tip and extreme end of tip good for bite detection saying that in todays market and in same price band i would rather have a penn rod anyday

          iv actually got a few rods ,zziplex dymic lt14 ,couple off centurys , an anyfish anywhere big beach ect ,but they are all 14foot rods and on the piers ,your a bit restricted at times thats why im after a 13footer like a shadow ,mainly for the pier

            you could open your own shop up with all those rods saying that ive just picked up another rod this after noon an old greys pz300t in exelent condition only a few sratches £80 i just couldnt help myself

              ha ha rod, your getting like my mate alan scott the viking who fishes shields pier a lot ,hes got that many rods doesnt know wat to do wi them ,wouldnt care he just sold 2 shadows to steve tarlands shop for £70 each ,but i didnt know about it at the time ,typical off my luck

                pleny of 13ft rods out there shadows are ok but just my opion mind you i would rather have a 13ft penn rod

                    been honest tho i use my shadow and 14 foot bullit on our pier the 14 footer is fine no probs with space if your after a 13 foot rod the anyfish any were match rod is nice rod and like alan says penn do some canny gear

                      ill bear that in mind ,14ft is ok for parts off the pier .but at the like off the 44mark you aint got much room, but ill keep an open mind on it
