    been told its been fishing its pants off with good cod when seas are rough . as cod seek shelter in marina??? can anyone confirm this or do i need to send my source to sleep with the fishes?

    Marina is enclosed with Lock Gates so guess they would have a hell of a job getting in there out of the bad Weather lol.
    There are always Fish in there of course.

      another good spot is under the bridge at middleton when its raining the fish gather under it to avoid getting wet.

        is that near the secret tunnel to the marina that the cod use when the marina lock gates are closed and its raining and stormy, cos I wondered why all the bu..gers were hanging round there
        fish for 2014 whiting,codling,flattie,coalie,chub,perch,,trout,g rayling,seatrout,barbel roach and salmon .......let it go it will grow bigger

                  Last time I fished it all we got was coleys, a mate of mine has had a few cod out of it over the years 'though. Biggest 6lb he told me.

                    In all seriousness might be some truth as the red light fishes well when the sea is mountains and after. Unless it is or has been wild its useless otherwise like and loads of snags, want to be 80+ yards out to be safe.

                        I have never seen them and I park there quite often, I think your just making that up lol
