                      big tide

Was at the quayside along blyth river about 4-30ish and the water was up to the buildings and well over the grass.I've lived in blyth all my 6o years and never seen the river that high.

How do I read that pic? Are the red bits the big sea and blue is flat water?

                          Cheers

read the colour code along the bottom and match the colour to the wind speed.

was down Tynemouth at high tide this afterrnoon, the sea wasn't to big lads where out surfing, it is more rolling down the coast the worst places will be the bits that stick out. The problems are not being caused by the sea but the size of the tides, that is why the fish quays etc are flooded, and with a little bit of sea on is making it a bit worse. I have fished in seas much bigger over the years.
