like the technique mate better than the one I use which is just a quick link with bait clip upside down

Cant beat a spark plug with 12 pund buttom on for rocky groves.
Get yaself to a garage man and ask for duff spark plugs, theyll have loads. Tek a bucket with ya and ya laffin.

do you's use just stander grip wire to make these
The main body is stainless tig weld and the bit that drops is standard grip wire , the wooden beads are from a beaded curtain and work if just lowered into the water as the bead floats ( so no water pressure is needed ) if ya need a couple to copy off giz a pm and ya can have some , there work every time mate , from a lob to a power cast :-)
                      I am a fisherman !
It is not merely something that I do
It is who I am !
Fishing is not simply my escape.
It is where I am supposed to be.
It is not a place that I go
But a lifelong journey that I am taking
It is a passage that was shown to me and that I will continue to show others.
When you understand all of this you will then know me .
                      And we will fish together
