    hi folks was down newbiggin on wednesday nite after work for few hours bashing just 2 see wot it was like since they put the new breakwater there.The water was crystal clear and calm,i ended up with 9 in under 2 hours had 3plaice,4flounder and 2dab the biggest was plaice about 2lb all fish was released bak to water to get another day.Bait used was lug,rag and mackerel lug on its own proved the best

                    Glad the fishing's good there. Can't wait for it to open properly so I can teach the kids from there. Pretty much outside my office door.
