wallsendo its the time of the year for makeral so obviousy the piers gonna be busy..if ya dont like fishing in crowded areas try further north or som of the rock marks..any tide...the piers are hard work ....lol....try casting off a cliff at marsden...hard work all day gotta coalie like so at least a caught somethingLast edited by blackcat; 27-06-2007, 03:30 PM.

yes Wallsendo...Blyth can be one of the many so called... hotspots in the winter, but can also look absolute perfection in regards to conditions, but still fail to produce the goods,(thats fishing I suppose..) Winter gone was poor but mainly due to what seemed to be everlasting westerlys. My rigs...I use Pennel pulley rigs using a 4/0 first hook and 2/0 second, just my preference,
( I still catch nowt....lol..)
