    hello lads went down south shelids on friday hoping to catch a few mackys but sea was a bit nasty. when the weather gets better do yous think they will be on the catch again. I have read a few posts and they have been cought in the 100s and am only after a few got all me hook barbs filed down ready for them ones i want to swim another day!!! hope to hear from you pros!!

    Hi John, had my first trip out for quite a while tonight and went to Craster. Loads of Mackerel shoaling along the rocks up there and plenty of reports of them today from Roker and Shields so take your pick mate.

    Hope you have a good time when the weather permits, tomorrow morning is looking pretty good weather wise.

        i was on blyth pier yesterday m8 and people were catching with every cast loads of big mackeral as well as loads of sand eels and coalies
