  • Rigs/Traces etc

When you've fished with a rig, do you re-use it? or do you recycle the whole thing and rebuild?

I've always tended to just replace the hook etc and keep the main body of the trace for at least a few sessions...

Am I being overly frugle? or do other people adopt similiar practices?
    Ooh a new vid!

Same for me ,as long as the rest of the trace is fine ,then it's just the snood and hook that's replaced.

I rinse the full rigs in fresh water and reuse the lot, when the hooks start to rust i tend to cut them off and replace.
I wrap the rigs aroung old pieces of cardboard (such as the side of a cornflake box).
