I've been thinking about getting a pair or waders for when I'm fishing on beaches so I can get my bait a bit further out cos I'm not a very good caster. What would you recommend and do they go over ya floatation suit or what cos I want to start warm as well.
Grt some vass waders they the business! If u wear floatation suit ul not want thick ones as ul sweat like a gud un! Long johns and trackkies but thrn if ur wading out ul want a shoeter jacket!
Don't think you would wear a flotation suit under your waders m8 but if your wanting a really good pair of waders you wont go wrong with a pair of vass tex 740g chest waders good strength and a great boot keep u nice and warm I love mine best av ever had
Not to keen on vass tex 740g chest waders oceans are better the vass are heavier and seem to hole easier
Had ocean waders for years and granted they are a great wader put vass tex are far superior to ocean and much stronger had mine about year now and wore them on the rocks kneeling down a lot got great strong knee pads av abused them quite a lot and not as much as a mark on them and I find that these are a nice warm wader also that's just my opinion anyway
Thanks a lot for the help everyone. I'll look at the vass ones. If they are nee good over a floatation suit what do you wear on the top?
If you wear a flotation coat over your waders yes that's spot on m8 I wear a pair of long johns and track suit bottoms tucked into a pair of thick wool socks and neoprene socks cause on the beach am in the water a lot on top a sas sundridge flotation jacket just never feel the cold wool socks are key to keeping your feet warm they absorb any sweat which can cause your feet to get cold
