      I've just bought a penn affinity 7000 and loaded it with 50lb spider wire and really can't fault it ! capable of casting a long long way and when you pull in fast you can get a 6oz lead skimming
      along the top a good 40 yards out so really does
      lift your gear up and away from snags sharpish , I'm probably gonna buy another one later and get shot of my multis !

        Another one for the penn surfblaster 8000 here. I've got ultima 35lb braid on mine and it flys off the reel. The lads who have mentioned the retrieve on them aren't wrong. I'm sure I read it pulls in 1 metre per turn of the handle.
        All the gear, no idea.
