  • Rig Wallet Question

Do yours always fall to bits after a few trips?

My most recent one is a Storm "heavy duty" jibbyjobbyjabba thingy and it's fell to bits

The one before that was a Anyfish Anywhere soopadoopaindestructable and the zip is gooshed

The one before that blew away cos it wasn't heavy enough

    Any ideas
    Regards, Graham

I put all my rigs individually in plastic zippy bags and then keep them in a tupperware style boxes of just heavy plastic bags. I find once the wallets get wet they aint much good.
    Cheers, Keith.

i use the anyfish anywhere match orginiser but the idea is to get your rigs out you want to use then put it back in your tackle box out the way

Must agree with Paul ,keep your rig wallet out of the open as much as possible as it stops the zip from weathering ,I've had a few different wallets , I've got a great sizeable Zebco wallet for the boat ,unfortunately it got very wet and the zip ... well you can guess the rest .
You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

Hi, I've had the same problem with fancy rig wallets self destructing, I now use a cheap one with velcro instead of a zip and it does the job ok.
A canny tip is to use a carp angler's rig bin which only cost a few quid but is handy for used rigs which you don't want to put away wet and they are good for sets of feathers or daylights.
Hope this is of some use. ian

I was wandering around Amble market last year and bought a load of Fladen rig wallets. They went for nowt, I tend to fill each one with different rigs and they are the dogs doodahs. The only ones that I have ever bought.
