  • few hours down the river wear 1/6/07

    decided to have a few hours down south hylton under the a19 bridge,had a small place first cast,moments later coalies started banging away ,after the tide started to turn ,double shots of eels and coalies

    ,(my first eel this year)the tide had started to move more then flatties soon showed up,had one about 32 cm,s and one at 30 cm,s,




    me mate lost a eels which looked about 2ft long and probs of been around 2lb mark by the thickness of it.
    more the tide dropped off bites became far and few between,peeler crab was only bait used ,anyway it was nice to not been sitting in the house
