  • Sorry to say

As some will have seen I'm selling me stuff off.

Mixture of losing interest, and not getting any enjoyment from fishing anymore really.

A few times I've been out this year its seemed more of a chore than anything else, and it was getting to the point that when planning trips there was always the wind/rain/tide etc that would put a block on it.

Year or so ago I just went out when I could, didn't check tides, weather etc and had a good time, so I don't know if I was just trying to over complicate things, but anyway, whatever it is, Im not getting the "buzz" anymore

I'm sure some if not most of the people here have done or thought similar, and I'm sure that in a year or so's time I'll probably regret it.

I'll still pop in here now and then like, to see reports, and keep the mackems in check

    Anyway, cheers all, tight lines

Know what you mean about over complicating things. When you try to get everything right you tend to get out less and enjoy it less. You probably will miss it though.

Make sure you keep some stuff mate, you never know when you'll get the bug again and it makes it harder to get out again when you've got to run around buying gear first.

Listen to the lads and keep some gear mate . It'll cost you a fortune to replace it when you get back into it.and I bet you will want to start again some time

If you dont need the money theres no point selling it, you'll be driving a long the seafront one day, see a big dying northerly and be absolutely gutted

if you don't need the cash keep it, pack it all away somewhere, never know when you might get your mojo back!

you'll have to keep an eye on the non-fishing chat in here like, all the mackems will just pick on me now!

check in for their relegation meltdown
