    hi all probly a daft one but here goes. Can you use normal table salt or do i have to use sea salt cheers Peter

        i did some recently and they are spot on.

        i dropped the 10 i was putting in the wrap into a small bucket. sprinkled about the same amount of table salt over them as you would on a bag of chips. give them a shake in the bucket to get them a coating then wrapped them.

        they dont actually freeze solid and the paper stays damp but when you come to use them they are lovely and firm. even after theyve been returned to the freezer once or twice they are still good.

        make sure you put the paper wraps in a plastic bag or they will dry out in the freezer.

          They will keep in the fridge for quite some time once salted so no need to freeze them straight away especially if you will be using them within the next week, if not then yea freeze them

            Cracking tip....not living near the coast we take our baits home and refreeze em but they only last a couple of times then go to slush. gonna try this ...hope it works could save me a fortune
