hi guys just a quick question

is there been anything caught at seaham lately cos i was thinking of going next saturday.

if there has been fish caught what baits were used.

there is a junior comp on on sat senior comp this sunday gone 1st 1 bass and 1 flonder susan hope jr 2nd d borwell 2 flatties 3rd k newton 2 flatties 4th s newton 2 flatties , i think there was 47 fishing 12 people caught 17 fish ,1 bass 1 coalie and the rest were flatties of some kind .yes i got a position on the board and i beat the wife even if it was by .02 of a pound .

baits were rag and a bit maccy crab got the coalie .

i can remember entering the junior comp around 1997 and came first.

will try to find somewhere else to give the juniors space.

whats the fish like at hartlepool then?

you will be able to fish from about the 40 mark down the pier as the juniors are only pegged to about 40 .

Ayen before Ken mentions it,The winning bag was from nxt peg to me...I got nowt with whiteworm and crab lol..Beaten by a jnr female with raggy..

no m8 just about the top thirty pegs ,if weather to bad the white post or up the wear .

live at dawdon , fish most weekends with wife and bairns ,then up the wear for the ryhope river comps on tuesdays . give me a shout might get down soon to see if theres any maccy about .

juniors fished at panns bank on sat due to high winds , kristopher newton cleared the board with the only 2 size fish , a flatty at 1 lb and a flatty of 0. 63 lb . i think it was 10 fished and only 2 size fish .
