I last saw it a couple of weeks ago. I was walking along when a few lads threw a bucket of water over it. It barked at them, jumped in and swam off. I felt like saying it's a f****** seal not a dolphin. Obviously these thicko's thought it might dry out or something. Obviously couldn't read the signs which were saying do not approach or scare this seal as it's resting.

          Seal/ fish

I do believe its a good idea that it has gone because the amount of undersized fish which were being thrown on the steps for it was unreal, and its only a good thing thats its gone so the fish which are undersized can grow instead of being thrown on the steps as seal supper. I was also on the Rathouse a couple of months ago when this P**s head was keeping everthing he caught small coalies no bigger than 15cm, codling again no bigger than 15cm, idiots like this give us anglers a bad name and he obviously must not now what a measure is or infact legal sizes for fish. He caught a coalie about 4ozs and said it was 3lbs obviously hes eyes needed testing and so he nocked it on the head and straight in the bag it went surely there can be something people can do about people like this taking undersized fish .

If there is one phrase that makes my blood boil its " I'll take that for the cat". It time people realised that there are size limits on most species and we all need to stick to them . There has been official comments about how pleased enforcement officers are that a majority of clubs in this region have minimun sizes that actually exceed the national minimum.

If you see someone keeping undersized fish tell them they are breaking the law ..they may listen...they may not. But at least you will have done your bit in terms of educating the uneducated.

Cheers for the help lads its just disgraceful for people to keep undersized fish although most anglers have common sense however there are also a widespread number who don't have a clue and just keep anything they catch fair enough if its legally size but when they are undersize its indispicable. thanx again for the help much appreciated lads

Im all for doing this and usually do step in but its getting to the stage where if you do say anything then you risk getting a bottle in the face for your troubles!

JAMIE, Tell them there are recycling bins for bottles if they come near you. I am sure they will see sense and apologise...(only kidding)
A bad days fishing is better than a good day at work.
