    alright lads theres been a landslide recently on the cliffs at south shields north off boatys bay before you get to the shelf this has had some temp fence put around the affected area also a little walk south a found a big hole in grass near footpath and its about 10 foot round about 10 ft deep which must of happend overnight which isnt fenced off yet spoke to the guy who works for national trust said he was on marsden and theres bits falling off cliffs so take care wen on beach espesialy high water just thought a mention this before some one mite get injured or worse

    Good info mate there will be alot of people headed there on Sunday or around the Marsden area

      shields open this sunday and probly be lots of people fishing the cliffs so lads take extra care when fishing the cliffs

        I may as well mention also , anyone who fishes the ashy bank at Easington , the stream that runs down to the cliffs has also suffered a land slide , exposing a sheer drop at the turning to walk down the incline onto the beach , if your expecting the path to be there your gonna fall 100 ft or so ...
