G'day fellas, i got me one of these to use on a second rod which did not have a reel seat.... ive tried adding a little inner strip between the coaster strap and reel foot and found that it still moves when trying to wind in on occasions. i find that i constantly have to tighten the coasters regularly after every other cast. is there some other way i can get them to be more effective?

the only thing I can think of is a piece of a cycle inner tube placed against shrink wrap 1st , the thing is with them being plastic you're never going to get them as tight as the metal types , you'll strip the threads before you got them as tight as the metal ones .

maybe thats where the inner tube is meant to be ... ill give it a swap round .... thanksPunch and pull then let rip
