Fished the groyne from 4 this morning about 12 trawllers left 2 came that close it snapped me off would off pulled my rod in if I did not have hold of it. Bearing in mind they left from north shield and were about 60 yards from the edge of the groyne I can honestly say it must off been deliberate why else come that far out your way I hope it wraps around his propeller and the tosser gets stuck out at sea . And rips all his nets and catches no fish

Chuck a post on wsf phil, its been infiltrated by the commercials.
They think its funny to wind up us shore lads.
    Bell-ends.
If its got t1ts or tyres, its gonna be trouble.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem

There a pain in the ar*e no doubt, but i dont think it would of been deliberate. they have nothing to gain by dragging rods in.
More than likely just being lackadaisical, no excuse like.
I know a few lads that work the trawlers that also fish from the shore and they wouldnt put up with owt malicious from there boats

fair enough phil, if thats the case its out of order and rather stupid! must of been bored to **** as most of the lads i know never stop from the second they get on board till the moment they get back to dry land.
Cant understand why they would be fking with shore anglers when they have so much else on there hands

I in no way advocate the advice i give you, but find where the boat berth's
and smash the skipper straight in the lips.
I would not take my advice, but it works for me !

              Rules of the road

all vessels leaving the port should stay the south side of the shipping lane all vessels entering on the north side that is the rule, but out of common sense and respect you would have thought they would try and avoid fishing gear.

On the flip side, we were steaming past the walkway one morning and some numpty cast out just as we passed, his sinker hit the wheelhouse, luckily no damage but it could of killed someone.

                Mutual respect required me thinks.
                Cheers, Keith.

The numpty who cast at you keith should be brought to task, he gives the
                      shore lads a bad name.

Exactly, I dont condone violence but then again i have been a tad partial to it myself in the past when needs must. I have found it a lot easier to get on giving a little nowadays. save the extreme violence for the ones that really need it
Nothing wrong with hunting down skippers and there crew though if thats your forte
