Well it looks like my summer of fishing has finished before it even started. Just bought myself loads of new gear and even got used to using a multiplier then i went and got my hand stuck in a machine at work.....
My little finger was stitched back on on friday but there is a pin holding it together and i have got to have it in plaster for at least 6-8 weeks, there will then be a load of physio.
So good luck on all the fish lads, try and save some till i'm back..

Cheers lads. Just bored sitting round the house not being able 2 do anything. Can't even go looking for marks cos i'm not able to drive for months. It just sucks.
Been recording all the fishing programes on discovery so will be watching them.

There's a lad fishes at Tunstall (Fly fishing) with only one arm who can cast a clean line further than most other anglers there. How the chuff he gets his fish in I've no idea, but he does on a regular basis. If it's only half your body that's banjaxed use the other half, a fixed spool will do the job. The fish will never notice.

My mates got no legs as well but he still goes running (In his Head)

i broke the little finger on my left hand at work with some idiot about a year ago. Had to wear a plastic thing so i couldnt bend it and it was stuck on with plaster. It was a horrible thing. I still went wieght lifting with my little finger sticking up in the air and took my lad to the baths with my left hand on my head.etc
After a few weeks off it came. Would,nt know out was wrong now.
Hope the hand gets better soon.

                        Mick.
