    Here is a brief
synopsis Mr Shoe;Best fished on a big tide,to access the rock edges.Best
fishing during,or just after a big sea starts to ease.Generally extremely
difficult to fish, during late Autumn, early Winter storms,as the kelp gets
uprooted, and the bays are choked with it.Obviously you need to be fishing a
couple of hours, either side of low,for the rock edges, but you can move onto
the sands,as the tide floods.Best bait in my opinion,is lug tipped with crab, and
as the tides are quite small this weekend, you may as well try Howdiemont
sands, which is the beach straight in front of where you park up.The bottom
is pretty clean, but you will struggle for bites,if the sea's flat.
    Good luck anyway

If you are fishing the Howdiemont.....Take plenty of sinkers!
