  • Harrison Torrix P3

Was thinking about getting one of these as I'm going to get a new rod within the next couple of months. Just wanting to know peoples opinions on them? Would it be worth just putting the extra cash to buy a kompressor ss instead? I am going to buy brand new I think.

I've been in mate, seen them the other week. Lovely looking rod and cracking price too! I think I'm just gonna go for the P3 instead but wanted to hear people's opinions

P3 is a better rough ground rod than a ss but the ss is a better all rounder so depends what your looking for

An all rounder really Phil. I'll be using it for pier/river/beach Whitburn and marsden way so it can be snaggy as well so not totally sure what to get

I'm in reel sport for bait every now and again so I'll see what he reckons.

Aye that would be spot on Phil, not on any rush like as i won't be buying for couple of months.

As much as I like my P3 I wouldn't describe it as an all-rounder, I keep it for the heavier marks - other rods (like the SS) would make better all-rounders for beaches & river marks etc.

ive just been getting one of these mainly for the rock edges, what a great rod used it for the first time the other day of the rocks and what a great stiff rod ideal for the kelp and heavy stuff i got in from terry at reelsport for 300 quid and if you ask me i think its a bargain considering for a decent rock rod you can pay mega money and this rod is definatly up there with the stiff rock rods
