is there sufficient tension between the cascade and the bottom clip ? also instead of srt u can also use silicone and a bead to help create the appropriate tension .
if u r using cascade swivel try to make sure its right way round. i now use bent clip and had similar issues before when it was tied wrong way mate. hope u get to solve it .
I think I might have sorted it. It looks like I had the length from the hook to the cascade longer than the cascade to the swivel.
I shortened it by about an inch and appears to have worked.
In total its taken about 1.5 hours to tie and sort this out :-(

Your hooklenth between hook and cascade should only be long enough to fit your bait in(say 4-5inch for example), then the top bait will be closer to the other bait and lead, making the rig more streamline for casting.
