just thought I better let u guys who go on the Heugh as they have just fixed the barrier on the top level so be warned if ya go down won't be as easy to get on cheers ste

It come off last winter when we had that huge seaspecies 2013 - codling, whiting, dab, lesser spotted dogfish, spurdog, flounder, shore rockling, 5bd rockling, long spined sea scorpion, ballan wrasse, pollock, coalfish .......
species hunt to date......... Mackerel, Codling, Whiting, Pouting, LS Sea Scorpion, Shore Rockling, Sprat, Dab, Flounder, Bass, 5 bd Rockling, 3 bd Rockling, Turbot, Eelpout, Pollock, Lesser Weever, Plaice, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Spurdog, Ballan Wrasse, Coalfish.......TBC!!

Not been fishing it much of late, the Heugh does not fish anywhere near aswell past few years I have noticed. Does not seem that long ago you would go down and expect to pull in a 5lber no bother and even dare to contemplate the double figure cod drag up the stepsBest shore catch 2016 - 7.5lb cod, Seaton Carew!
